Beautiful Tinky sits in her favourite spot in the garden, dreaming mice dreams among the flowers. I bet that rock gets wonderfully warm in the sun. Cats always find the best places to sleep don’t they?

I love her expression of contentment too.

I love the colours in this painting, there were so many colours in her fur and in the rock beneath her. I built it up in many layers and kept the paint thick and juicy in the coat and in the rock.

This is a 20 x 16 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas.

Leonora enjoying the sunshine.  I loved doing this painting, the colours in her coat and the background and the strong light, all seemed to come together in this portrait of Leo.

This is Mylo and Poppy, a recent commissioned painting. These two have very striking eyes and I tried to capture them in this 10×8 painting.

The twelfth annual Exhibition for The Society of Feline Artists is now on at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery in Waterloo, London and it features the work of Full and Associate members of SOFA. This shows some of my paintings in the show. The show is on until the 20th of September.
